Such a wonderful place to rest and to recharge. We stayed here since we were invited to a wedding in the area. David and Liam are super friendly, caring and attentive! We hope to return at some point to explore more of the beautiful area!

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on Sunday morning after passing it a few times during our stays in a nearby village. The location is beautiful, right next to the river, the interior is cosy yet eclectic, the welcome from the owners was warm and cheerful and the food and coffee was DELICIOUS!! Served on hot plated (a must for us!), local produce used and cooked perfectly (my husband had the full English breakfast and I had the welshrarebit). Highly recommend a visit, We will be back soon!!

This is a review of the cafe. We stopped here whilst driving home to Cornwall from Heathrow, having spotted a sign for it on the A303. How glad we were, as it was just perfect, exactly what we were after! The cafe itself was warm and welcoming, very cosy. The staff were friendly and we had a lovely chat with one of the owners, who was happy to spend the time answering our questions about the place. As for the food... We had been craving a full English after 2 weeks holiday abroad and they delivered on that score too. The ingredients were top notch, great quality fresh local produce with one of the biggest and best sausages I've ever had in a breakfast. Now that I've discovered this little gem, I will definitely be using it as my regular stop off on the way up to the airport.

The Riverbarn is an absolute gem. David and Liam run the place with a ton of heart, and their crew — Ash, Ollie, Louis, and Flora — are as friendly as it gets. The food? Fresh and seriously tasty. Drinks? Spot on. The whole spot is clean, cute, and has that “you’ll want to linger” vibe. The patio is perfect for hanging out, and the lawn by the river feels like a little bonus paradise. We’ve come with friends, with kids, and it always works. Just a really easy, fun place to be. 10/10 — go.

We visited for a night to take our children to Longleat. The B&B owners took extremely good care of us. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the breakfast in the cafe top notch. Even though it was a short stay it’s the type of place you can imagine returning to. Set by a stream and surrounded by greenery it’s no doubt a very relaxing place to sit on warmer days.

I definitely recommend a visit to this lovely and casual café, which is in a very pretty setting. My friend and I had coffee and brownies (which are gluten-free). The service was very friendly, and the coffee and brownies high-quality. Do check the opening hours before visiting because I found that the café closes relatively early.
